Online Auction Fundrasier - Ferndale Area District Library

The Friends of the Ferndale Library have partnered with Jarrad Heaslip Gallery and artist Charlie Foster to showcase original works for their fundraiser auction, live on September 23rd at 10 am and ending October 7 at 8 pm EDT

About the art:

This summer, people of all ages in the community came together at the Jarrad Heaslip Gallery to paint an 18 foot long roll of canvas alongside the guidance of professional artist Charlie Foster. We had the pleasure of seeing 2-year-olds to 72-year-olds join together to make something beautiful. Some notable artistic names that joined us to work on this piece were - Phil Simpson of The Smile Brand, Monica Rickhoff-Wilson, Bri Hayes, David Galli, William Hanagan and Bri Frey. All participants in the event were offered acrylic paints, brushes, oil sticks, pastels, Foster's paper collage materials from his collection, as well as the opportunity to express themselves without judgement.

This roll of canvas has been divided into 8 sections - 6 available for auction, and 2 for display inside the Ferndale Area District Library, adding to their permanent art collection. The divided works for the auction will be on display in the Ferndale Area District Library until October 12th, we recommend you visit and see them in person.
