About the event
Jarrad Heaslip Gallery partnered with the Ferndale Area District Library for Charlie Foster x Ferndale Library, a free community live-painting event held on June 18, 2026.
Led by artist Charlie Foster, guests of all ages were invited to add their own mark to a 20-foot canvas while experiencing Foster’s painting process in the gallery.
Foster will complete the collaborative work before it is divided into multiple pieces, displayed at the Ferndale Area District Library, and auctioned at a later date, with proceeds benefiting the library.
Charlie Foster’s latest body of work remains on view at Jarrad Heaslip Gallery through July 3, 2026.
