Erika Cross
Erika Cross is an American designer whose work explores the intricate relationships between object, scale, and user. Her work seamlessly melds sculptural aesthetics with utilitarian functionality, bridging the gap between fine art and everyday life. At the heart of her design philosophy is a hands-on approach, where the workshop becomes both a source and a canvas for her boundless creative energy; a space that functions as a library of knowledge and a laboratory of innovation.
Internationally trained, Erika holds a master’s degree in Design Products from the Royal College of Art in London. Prior to this, Erika pursued a parallel educational path, earning a BFA in Art and Design from the University of Michigan and a BS in Interior Design from Eastern Michigan University. In the world of Erika Cross, the ordinary is reimagined, and the familiar is transformed into unexpected marvels.
